Protected Mode

I notice that whenever i try to login to cy when internet Explorer's "Protected Mode" setting is enabled, it just doesn't log me in. the setting is located under the security tab of the internet options. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to make it so that you can log in without having to disable protected mode?

Good question. Well when Mozilla firefox first came out, it kicked Explorers butt. But now, according to some learned techies i know, becaues of an update microsoft carried out on Explorer, it surpasses firefox somehow. So now i'm back on Explorer... :\

I think the update was more of a security one, so you're more secure on explorer now. That's what i'm guessing anyways.

Or go with chrome if you want something lightweight.

Also a reason why i stopped using firefox is cuz everytime i leaver it on for an extended period of time, it just racks up all my resources and starts lagging my comp slightly. I know part of the reason is cuz i have to upgrade my machine, but it still shouldn't do that thought. Which browser is best in using the least amount of resources?

Hmmm... I dunno. I'd still trust FF more.

Honestly I'm trying to switch over to Chrome but they don't have all the extensions I want just yet. It's not to bad on resources, gives you a huge amount of screen space, and is pretty fluid.
